BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 500-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 27 mm, 7.84 g, 1 h). ϘꟼΟ Tripod with legs ending in lion's feet, and with three handles and snakes rising from the bowl; to right, crab; cable border. Rev. Same type as the obverse, but incuse except for the legend and crab; rayed border. Gorini 15. HN Italy 2085. SNG ANS 244-245. Sharply struck and nicely toned. Some die breaks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
